Code of Conduct

Future Human aims to ensure we offer a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion – whether that’s in person or online.

We cannot and will not tolerate harassment of Future Human participants in any form. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event at the discretion of the organisers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, as well as display of sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, Future Human’s organisers reserve the right to take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the main event (online or in person) and associated activities. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the organisers immediately (there will be a visible Safety link at all times/Report function).

We expect participants to follow these rules at all times, and in all Future Human venues, virtual and otherwise.

Thank you for your understanding.
